I agree. He reminds me of some lovable-yet-scruffy artists and geeks I have known. It's a good look for Igor. Because now that I think of it, mad scientist assistants would've been geeks.

It does have to be someone who can focus on something to the point of and then past obsession.
Only a geek can do that.
