I am in awe of Wacom's new product, the Inkling, which is basically a ball pen that saves a digital copy of a sketch done on regular paper. It even lets you create layers and gives you the option of vector output for Illustrator. Absolutely brilliant O.o I don't suppose any of you want to buy me one in exchange for sketches? :P

Sleep worked a lot better last night, so I have a good chance of being productive today. I'm also trying an experiment, and I've hidden my computer clock to keep it from triggering unnecessary anxiety. It's not like I have a real schedule to keep, after all :P You've earned a fairly long list of sketch refinements, that I'm slowly working through. My goal for today before I go to sleep is to finish the extra round of work on Diapering Dragons that you voted for, and get that posted. I expect to be out of town for part of next month, so I really hope I can stay focused until then.

How much is the Inkling pen? Maybe you could crowdfund it, with perks like posting early sketches with it or a review.

It's $200 (US, I presume)..and that's actually not a bad idea. One big advantage to this tool is that it lets you work digitally and have original paper sketches, so maybe I could sell them...I will consider! Thanks :)

Well, $200 is doable, though it may be a stretch for a project as new as yours. I'd say talk it over with your audience. People would probably like the option of having original paper sketches available; your illustrations are quite popular. You could post a ticker to show how close you are to saving enough funds for the pen, and see how long it takes to fill up.
