I don't usually post before finishing a stage but flame on snow isn't the easiest thing to draw in one colour, so I could use some feedback. Is the elemental readable at all?
The fire elemental is more mixed. The right front, over the person's legs, has several projections that look a bit like arms and hands. That's nifty. The main problem lies in the base and the upper points, and it's caused by you using a brush with a consistent width. Flame isn't like that. It's wider at the base and narrows to points. It can move in streaks like you've drawn, but more often forms sheets and curls and tongues.
