Whups...forgot to post this ^_^;

I'm writing today. The post I'm working on for LJ-Crowdfunding has me thinking about the role of illustration in publishing, and looking back at the notes I made while developing the Story Sketches project, I realize there are some points I never really articulated. Trying to put them into words has given me a few ideas, but I don't want to get sidetracked and end up rushing to finish writing this before SketchFest on Friday, so this is just kind of a note to myself to get back to it when I have time :P I also have a couple of icons to work on, and a picture of Wingback Marsh Deer from Torn World, so it's going to be a busy week!

This reminds me of haikujaguar taking notes in visual form. She has posted examples of college class notes with illustrations all down the sides. And she says that when she took tests, she would visualize the pictures with the notes! It's a way of remembering information for visually oriented people. She does awesome illustrations for nonfiction too, like the Three Micahs.
