ArtRage Studio Pro got an update yesterday, and my chalk tool now feels softer and smoother...more like chalk pastels than conte crayons. I had some fun using it on the scribbly foliage in yesterday's Shine On sketch, and got a bit carried away with the shading. I've already gotten comments on it from ten people, and it's been up for less than a day, so I guess you like it! That, of course, means that I'm going to be spending the next few days turning at least some of the scribbles into actual foliage and refining the characters. Thanks everyone!

I was thinking how much the shading looked like real charcoal that would smudge properly underhand.

*happydance* The critter(s) I imagined in the brush would be left of center, right of the big tree at the left edge of the scene, and directly under the big bright frond there.

I am so looking forward to seeing the characters refined and the forest more detailed.
