Wah...almost 10pm, and I'm only now getting a chance to really sit down and type. Spent much of the day running around with J in search of a manual drill, since the one we had broke during the last project we used it for. No luck, sadly...it seems that not only does no one carry them anymore, a lot of shop clerks don't even remember that drills existed before they became power tools >.< J had to settle for getting a punch plier, which will let him make holes in the leather he's working with, but won't work for the thin sheet metal. He'll have to make do with his rotary tool for that, and it's a lot harder to control because of the speed. Modern technology isn't always a good thing. *sigh*

Of course, this means that I didn't have a lot of time for drawing today, either :P I'll try to get some work done on the Storybook Tree tonight, but I really have to make an effort to get to sleep before sunrise, so I don't miss my appointment with the chiropractor tomorrow. Gah!

Thanks for the tip. We did know the drills could still be ordered online, but, sadly, it takes a rather long time (and often high shipping fees) for things to arrive from the US, and he wanted to get started right away.
