I seem to have won a paper trimmer! Red River Paper had a contest on Facebook, and yesterday I got a message that said I'd been selected! I don't know if I'll get better results with it than with a ruler and x-acto, but winning stuff is always fun :) I have been very pleased with the results I've gotten printing on their papers, so I'm glad to have an excuse to link to them.

Minor update: I've added a link in the Undeadslayer sketch post to the newly-updated Dream Fantastic site, so you can check out the other stories hosted there.

I'm out of prompts again, as you may have guessed from the lack of sketchy post last night, but I'll try to work on art of some kind later on today, so with any luck, I will be able to give you something to look at!

pages of links later... the scene.
A Change in this setting is when one gets one's non-human features. In this scene, Ayla has just gone through her Change, getting rabbit ears, bunny feet, and horns. She leans against Ioanna, her lover, for emotional and physical support, touching her ears and horns.

They're in Io's dorm room. Primary distinguishing things from a normal dorm room: Big, real bed (queen-sized) and no windows (underground)

Thanks! I'll get to work on that tomorrow and let you know when I've posted a sketch.

I love paper trimmers.

Is it the sliding-disc kind or the guillotine kind? I like the guillotine because it's very satisfying to use, but the sliders are more accurate.

I think it's this one (http://www.redrivercatalog.com/acc/dahle_507_personal_paper_trimmer.html) but I could be mistaken. I've never seen a personal paper trimmer that could rival what I can do with a ruler and sharp x-acto for accuracy, but if it does come with different kinds of blades, that could be interesting.
