Many thanks to all of you who sent good wishes while I was away! I'm slowly settling into life as a hermit again, and switching back to a daytime schedule as I work on catching up with stuff I've missed/put on hold. I'm also really looking forward to resuming my art making activities, and will try to have something for you to see within the next few days.

Hmm...you're right. I think colour would be quite important there. If you like, I could try using green and another paper colour for the sketch. Or, if you and your fans can come up with $25 to sponsor it, I can do a speedpainting like I do for SketchFest. I'd make a pic 700px on the longest side and work on it for about an hour. That would have the advantage of being in colour, but you wouldn't have the opportunity to request revisions between stages.
